From a ”side street” agency to a major player in promoting sustainable tourism and supporting local communities

Sidetour was founded by Halil Özdoğan Tahiroğlu in 1987. Over time, it evolved in a Geçici A travel agency, dealing with ticketing and insurance policies. When Houssem Belloum joined the family business in 2006, a new era started:

• incoming toursim with leading international agencies on the French, German, Swiss and Turkish markets
• sustainable tourism in cooperation with Kormacit, the last inhabited Maronite village of Cyprus
• Outgoing tourism for Cypriot and Turkish customers: Tunisia, Indochine, Germany, Thailand, UAE, Balkan countries, etc.
